Fly Fishing Adventures
Beginner’s course
Our Fly Fishing course is designed to give the newcomer to fly fishing a chance to have a go at all the different types of fly fishing, on
- stillwater
- river
- saltwater
We will cover all the various casting methods, use a variety of rods and line weights and try different tactics for catching fish.
Everything you are going to need to get you started on your fly fishing adventures for wild brown trout, rainbows, mackerel or sea bass.
The weekend course will cover:
- Casting
- Rods and reels
- Lines and leaders
- Knots
- Fly selection
- Tactics
The course will be based in North Wales at the southern end of The Snowdonia National park.
Accommodation is at our Norwegian log cabin, close to all the mountain lakes, rivers and coastal saltwater.

- All fishing tackle needed
- E .A. Licence for 2 days
- Transport to all fishing venues
